Eminent Cape Verdian Rapper, poet, activist, cultural historian and holder of the flame SHOKANTI came to Notable to record vocals for an upcoming track for the new NomadicWax Diaspora Mixtape at Notable Productions. Featuring tracks by DJ NIO and soon to be remixed by DJ boo. A stream of articulate political positions, espresso and major flavour was flowing that morning. We look forward to working on tracks with Shokanti in the near future and loved working with him at the Trinity International Hip-hop festival this past year.
